L એટલે “સીમા” એટલે એ મૂલ્ય જ્યાં ફંક્શન ધીમે ધીમે પહોંચી રહ્યું છે. સિમોપરાંત કાર્ય થતું નથી અને અટકે છે. એટલે કે બ્રહ્માંડ નું ફંક્શન થતું બંધ થઇ જાય છે.

1. “a” as truth – ✅ That fits. In calculus, a is the target the variable approaches; philosophically, truth is what the soul approaches.
2. “x” as Jiva – ✅ Makes sense, the entity moving through life towards truth.
3. “approaching a” as life – ✅ The journey towards the ultimate reality is like approaching aaa.
4. f(x) as Universe – ⚠️ This is subtle. f(x) is the manifestation depending on the position of x. So the Universe isn’t just the function—it’s more like the observable effect of the soul’s position in relation to truth.
5. L as end of Universe – ❌ Not quite. In limits, L is the value the function approaches. In your analogy, the “limit” could be the experience of truth or realization, not necessarily the end of the Universe itself. The Universe continues, but your perception or comprehension of it reaches a limit.

So a refined mapping could be:

Problem comes when instead of approaching the Atman, the Jiva tries to approach the Universe (which itself is a function) thereby setting no limits and enter the endless loop. આને ગણિતમાં “divergence” અથવા “no finite limit”. આને ગણિતમાં ખૂબ સુંદર રીતે બતાવી શકાય છે. અહીં પરિસ્થિતિ એવી છે: સતત બદલાતી, અસ્થિર, અનંત પ્રક્રિયામાં ફસાઈ જાય છે. જીવ (x / जीव) આત્મા (आत्मा) તરફ જવાને બદલે બહારના બ્રહ્માંડ (f(x)) માં જ ફસાય છે. એટલે તે કોઈ નિશ્ચિત સત્ય (limit $L$L) સુધી પહોંચતો નથી

જ્યારે જીવ આત્મા તરફ જવાની જગ્યાએ બ્રહ્માંડના અનુભવોમાં જ વધુને વધુ પ્રવેશે છે, ત્યારે તેનો અનુભવ (Universe function) કોઈ સ્થિર અવસ્થાએ પહોંચતો નથી—પરંતુ અનંત તરફ ફેલાતો જાય છે. આ અનંતતા એટલે સંસાર (संसार) — સતત જન્મ-મરણ, ઇચ્છા, અને અસંતોષનો ચક્ર.
